Good People Everywhere!

Officially, I was on my weekend today but a group on Pensacola Beach asked me to come talk about sea turtles this afternoon, so I volunteered my day off.

This group has challenged itself to convince the homeowners, condos and businesses on the beach to change to turtle friendly lights.

It makes it so much better for everyone if people make these choices from the good of their hearts instead of as a result of future legislation. It's so nice to see that so many are willing to help these little turtles survive!

Thanks for volunteering to help the turtles! After lights, it's time to get rid of the balloons and plastic bags -- you have to have goals!
