The Park issued a press release regarding the road work at Fort Pickens, so I'm not telling any secrets here. Plus, all this huge yellow equipment at the gate is really hard to misinterpret. Road work is scheduled to begin Monday morning!

Thanks for the updates! I had been traveling to Ft. Pickens with my family for over thirty years. Our last camping trip was in 2004. We were hoping to camp again in 2009 but it isn't looking promising from what we are hearing. Loved the sea turtle photos!
